Donation Overview

We officially organized and received our 501(c)(3) dba certificate from the state of Indiana in November of 2022. Our fundraising began with the passion of Laura and Shane Martin reaching out to family friends and their church community.

Since inception, we have raised nearly $50,000 with over 80% directed specifically to the support of our foster/kinship youth and families.

  • Since opening officially we’ve had 1 family come in thus far, which seems unimpressive. However, it will take time to gain the appropriate traction and summer time tends to have a dip in placements anyways. 

  • For the last 18-24 months we’ve supported DCS & The Villages whenever they have had sudden placements. These calls could be once a month or twice a week.

  • On average, we have provided for 1-3 kids every two weeks or so.

  • The cost of placement roughly estimated to $400 worth of items. This is a fair baseline/minimum per child/per shopping trip.
